Let It Snow, Let I Snow | |

In February of 1994 I won the block-of-the- month drawing and received
17 "snow flake" blocks. 8 of them went into a Christmas tree skirt,
6 into a hexagon wall hanging and the last 3 into this wall hanging.
The diamond shapes are silk, and a metallic dress fabric was used in
the borders and binding. The outer black border with silver snow flakes
represents a snowy night. All work was done by hand, in the winter of 1995 and displayed at the guild quilt show in May 1995. |
