Christmas Dreams

This Christmas quilt was made for a "Keepsake Quilting" challenge to depict the dreams of a child anticipating Christmas at Grandma's.

It was also shown at the NQA Annual Show in Syracuse, June 1997.

Many of the holly leaves in the border are only partially attached, all are lightly stuffed. The berries are beads. Beads used on the tree, gingerbread boy and star; as well as many other 3D embellishments. It is finished in prairie points.

It was made in Fall 1995 -- All work done by hand, with the exception. of the quilt on the bed, which was strip pieced by machine.
