This Christmas quilt was made for a "Keepsake Quilting" challenge to depict the dreams
of a child anticipating Christmas at Grandma's. |
It was also shown at the NQA Annual Show in Syracuse, June 1997.
| Many of the holly leaves in the border are only
partially attached, all are lightly stuffed. The berries are beads.
Beads used on the tree, gingerbread boy and star; as well as many
other 3D embellishments. It is finished in prairie points.
It was made in Fall 1995 -- All work done by hand, with the exception. of the quilt on the bed, which was strip pieced by machine.
