As a Christmas gift in 1995, I received the full sized pattern
for a stained - glass window quilt. The original was displayed
in an exhibit called the "Architecture of Quilts" at the Gibbes
Museum in Charleston So. Carolina. I chose my own colors and took liberties with the design, adding a panel at both the top and bottom and designing new border treatment. The finished quilt was given to the son-in-law who had purchased the pattern for me. All work was done by hand using purchased bias binding. |
