A number of members ventured out for a nice afternoon of cross country skiing at Higley State Park. The snow was perfect and everyone had a great time. After skiing, members enjoyed a variety of wonderful soups, sandwiches and desserts back at the Fitzsimons home.
Thank you to Jutta and Joe Fitzsimons for hosting the January ski club meeting at their beautiful home in Colton. The balance of our account is $243.24.
There was a discussion on who would be hosts for March, April and May and Russ Nelson tentatively volunteered for the March meeting and the Kaczka’s volunteered for the May meeting which will be held on Derby Day, May 1st (time to be determined).
Joe Fitzsimons announced that Connie and Joe Zelinski would like to become members of the ski club. They will be invited to the next ski club gathering along with the guests that attended this meeting which included Nancy and Michael Griffin and Sue and Bob Northrup.
