Thank you to Jutta and Joe Fitzsimons for hosting the Soup and Sandwich meeting at their beautiful home in Colton. Cross country skiing started at 1 p.m. at Higley State Park located close by to the Fitzsimons' home. The skiing was excellent that day as reported from the members that went out on the trails. Everyone then gathered back at the Fitzsimons' home for soup and sandwiches. As always, there was plenty of delicious food. Shirley Metcalf presented an adorable wind up penguin and a polar bear to Dick Partch and Joe Fitzsimons. Prior to the end of the evening, everyone enjoyed Joe and Bob Gibbs playing a variety of popular songs on the piano.

The next meeting will be the annual Derby Day meeting hosted by Joanne and Dick Partch. The meeting will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2009 and the time will be determined at a later date.

Tom and Karen Fuhr will be hosting the summer get together in August at their home in Colton. Date and time will be determined later.

Respectfully submitted,
Karen and Tom Fuhr
