Introduction

You might be familiar with the scientific Palm OS application offered at: Bray Palm OS Page.
This Bray Mobile Applications page offers similar freeware applications which will run on a variety of computers.

These application are written in Ewe*, a variant of Java. There are Ewe runtime package available (for free) for the following computers:

PocketPC     HandHeldPC Pro     Sharp Zaurus SL-5500
PalmPC (WinCE)     Casio BE-300     Any computer running Java 1.x VM
Windows Desktop     Linux Desktop

One of the features of Ewe is that the very same application can run on both your desktop OS and your mobile OS.

To run these applications on your computer you must install a Ewe VM (Virtual Machine) on your computer. Ewe is very compact and efficient. It uses only about 2 Mbytes of memory. Check out Ewe at: http://www.ewesoft.com.

If you want to download one or more Ewe VM's for your computers read about it at Ewe Download and Installation Instructions the end of this page.

New Web Applications

When you are not near your handheld but can get on the internet, versions of the following application are now avaiable:

Try them out and if like what you see, bookmark them in your browser.
More of applications will be converted for internet access.

Thus LocEdit is provided for your convenience. It has several special operations and conversion functions not usually found in text editors.

Included with LocEdit.ewe is a set of Location Data CSV Files so that personalized Location Data CSV Files can created by started with well known locations.

We hope you find LocEdit a useful adjunct to your Mobile applications.

If you would like to learn more about LocEdit, Click Here to read the documentation which comes in the application documentation archive.
