Zermatt Skiing Areas to the South

From the Zodiac one can see a part of the skiing slopes to the south of Zermatt. This is only a small part of the available skiing in the Zermatt vicinity. Overall there are about 75 ski lifts.
This map shows the lifts and ski slopes that start at the bottom of the Zodiac's hill.

Kline Matterhorn is the uppermost lift terminal. Its altitude is 12530 ft. The lift in Zermatt is at 5400 ft.

Pictures from the Zodiac

This is a view of the area in the above map. Note that the apparent top of the mountain is Trockener Steg. However, it is only 60% of the way. A telephoto shot of the Furi terminal.

The Gornergrat Train Skiing Area
