Kline Matterhorn is the uppermost lift terminal. Its altitude is 12530 ft. The lift in Zermatt is at 5400 ft. It is possible to make one long run from Kline Matterhorn to Zermatt. The magenta line on the map shows a run Beth made. It took her 47 minutes of continuous skiing -- a vertical drop of 120 feet/minute. |

| This map shows the Gornergrat train route and
ski slopes that start in Zermatt.
Skiers can take the train making runs from between Gornergrat, Riffelberg and Riffelalp. There are also one Tee Bar lift. Several photographs on the Zermatt Scenery page were taken at these locations and on the train itself. |
